DEATH IN DUBAI

I have no objection to this article in today's Sunday Age - Israel accused of Dubai assassination other than that, just as many other reports of totally unfounded accusations have been published in the media in recent years, one of these days the mere reporting of the allegation will be used by detractors of Israel as its proof.

And naturally, the absolute irony of this charming paragraph will be completely missed by most readers although it encapsulates what is filthy about the way any item of news is dealt with when it comes to reporting on the Arab/Israel conflict:

Although a Palestinian news agency reported that the militant had died of cancer, security officials in the emirate said his body showed signs of a violent death.
