AND I THOUGHT THEY WERE BOYCOTTING ...

Four gunmen (either from Islamic Jihad or Fatah's Al Aksa Martyrs brigade, depending on what media outlet you get your news from) posing as journalists infiltrated Israeli territory from the Kissufim border crossing between Israel and the central Gaza Strip and attacked IDF troops stationed in the area. According to the Jerusalem Post, the gunmen "were traveling in a jeep marked 'TV', in an attempt to camouflage their true intentions."

One terrorist was killed in the ensuing gun fight and the three others managed to escape. No IDF troops or Israeli civilians were wounded in the attack. The British Journalists Union will, in all likelihood, condemn the death of the "militant" as they no doubt regard him as an innocent man trying to break out of the prison created by the Israeli "occupiers" when they left Gaza in 2005. Naturally, Gaza is the only prison on earth where the prisoners are gunmen armed to the teeth and who terrorise and murder their own people on a daily basis and who bask in the admiration of journalists like the British journos and others in various parts of the earth.

Israel will now be forced to search press vehicles, in a new take on the old terrorist tactic of abusing ambulances.

I'm sure the journalists will howl about this as well, but have little or nothing to say, as always about what happens to journalists in other Middle Eastern countries who don't toe the line...
