Honest Reporting has an item on the political agenda of former CNN employee Nidal Rafa who abused Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon at a media event, calling him a "fascist" - More Shocking Evidence of CNN's Faulty Hiring Policy.
It now appears that Rafa has acted as a stringer or a "fixer" and has a long history of Palestinian activism. That should preclude providing objective and neutral support for the foreign press and one wonders how many stories about this part of the world have been published by news outlets oblivious to the fact that the "fixer" really did "fix" the message imparted by unwitting or lazy journalists not interested in checking whether they were being told the truth.
