HAMAS' BATTLEFIELD

The inevitable battle is raging in Gaza and people are dying - 47 Palestinians killed during ongoing IDF raids in Gaza Strip.

Hamas and the other Palestinian terror groups have selected their battlefield by storing and firing rockets from populated areas. On Saturday evening, "the IAF bombed a truck filled with over a hundred rockets as well as several terrorists. It was unknown whether they were killed."

At least 16 of those killed were civilians, including a baby reported to have been struck when a Palestinian rocket misfired, as well as two teenagers. Civilian deaths in war are tragic but what was this baby doing at a place where rockets were being launched? Where does this child fit on the O'Loughlin scoreboard of casualties in the Age?

The Age headline screams that "Israel kills 60 Palestinians"

http://www.theage.com.au/news/world/israel-kills-60-palestinians/2008/03/02/1204402251395.html

More blood libel from Fairfax.

In another conflict would there be an Age headline saying "Sudan kills 400,000 Darfurians?"

Not on your life!

Wasn't one of the Palestinians a baby killed by a Hamas rocket misfiring. How many of the Pal deaths were self-inflicted by their own people?

How many of them were scum like Eid al-Ashram, a weapons expert. The Age is walking the tightrope between reporting and racist advocacy.
